ACCT6104 (Advanced Auditing)  builds on the fundamentals of auditing theory and practice acquired in the undergraduate courses Auditing 1  and Auditing 11. It covers the management of the audit process including quality control of audits and some special industry audits. Other areas such as internal audit and forensic accounting will also be covered. Classes will take the form of seminars where students make presentations on various topics, which are then discussed more generally.  Throughout the course emphasis will be placed on current issues and problems in auditing and research done on these issues and, in particular, how these issues impact on the accounting profession in Jamaica.
